What says Valentine’s Day more than love and roses? Jesus called Himself the rose of Sharon (Song of Solomon 2:1) and said that God is love (1 John 4:16). Jesus encourages us to follow in His example by loving the Lord (Joshua 22:5), our husbands (Titus 2:4), our wives (Ephesians 5:25), our neighbors (Matthew 19:19), and being a friend who loves at all times (Proverbs 17:17). This is the love of the Lord that shines through our church ‘ohana: the hugs, the smiles, the laughter, the prayers, the empathy and the words gently spoken. These are all a reflection of God’s love for each of us and our love for one another. CCWO is a wonderful fellowship of believers. You have taught my wife and me many things. You have increased our faith, our hope, and most of all our love (1 Corinthians 13:13). God’s Valentine’s gift to us is our Savior Jesus Christ and we treasure the memory of His reflection in you.
