Verse of The Day
“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.” (Psalm 1:1-2) (Read by Max McLean. Provided by The Listener's Audio Bible.)
Want your kids to be more than just kids raised in a church?Want your kids to have a living, active relationship with Christ?Well, don’t just “talk the talk,” you need to “walk the walk.”Proverbs 20:7 NLT says, “The godly WALK with integrity; blessed are their children after them.”I’ve been attending church a long time.Even though I tried to be the same at home as I am at church - I’m still puttingon a front. We can’t do that with our kids. They see us at church AND at home. They don’t buy into the “do as I say not as I do” philosophy. My kids know after twelve hours of “wakey-wakey” I am “grumpy-grumpy.”Sometimes I have to repent for snapping at my kids (and wife). This is where the gospel power in our heart meets the path of our life.In 1 Corinthians 4:16 NLT Paul states, “...follow my example and do as I do.”We must succeed in letting Christ live in our hearts and through our lives. We must die to ourselves each and every day.We must decrease and He must increase. Our children (not to mention the rest of the world) are watching.Walk worthy of your calling.̴Kip Brumm
The one statistic that every human faces is the fact that 1 out of every 1 person dies. It may be 30 years from now, 30 days from now or it might even be tomorrow. Life is fragile and nobody knows when their last day is going to be. So the question you must ask yourself is this:
ARE YOU 100% SURE THAT WHEN YOU DIE YOU WILL GO TO HEAVEN?
